Honda Celebrates F2 Aircraft Milestone

Many people know Honda for the kind of vehicles they deliver,but Honda has been involved in making better technologies in different ways.Recently, Honda Aircraft Company announced the first anniversary of flight testing of their first FAA design-conforming HondaJet aircraft.

This is the third conforming aircraft which is normally referred as F2 and has been conducting extensive flight testing since the first flight test that began on November 18, 2011.Honda is really excited about this event as it marks an important progress towards HondaJet’s certification.The F2 aircraft has been undergoing variety of flight test since it took off from Honda Aircraft Company’s world headquarters at Greensboro Piedmont Triad International Airport.The Honda team has gone through variety of checks and before the flight took off for the first time.

They made checked the takeoff and climb,landing gear operation,aircraft handling,flap operations,instrument landing system and various instruments and air data system checks.So far the aircraft has managed to perform well and pilots are quite happy with the performance.Michimasa Fujino,President and CEO of Honda Aircraft Company said that the first flight of their first test aircraft is really an important milestone for the company and that they have managed to keep up the performance which is because of the preparations and readiness of the team that is looking after the F2 aircraft.He also mentioned that he is really happy with the performance of the team and aircraft as it will help them in the future as well.
