General Motors in China have always tried to come up with the best cars and Chevrolet Volt certainly is one of the leading cars that will change the General Motors portfolio to some extent. Chevrolet Volt received the Electric Car of the Year award from China Auto News on December 28th, 2010. The news was immediately put up on their cnautonews.com website.</p>

The award ceremony had various media personalities from different parts of China and the world. Chevrolet Volt is the only electric passenger car that can perform well under any given climatic conditions. The car boast of a powerful battery that cannot deplete under normal conditions and therefore passengers are never stranded in isolated places. Chevrolet Volt also has a gasoline power that consumers can use when the battery power is low and together Volt can drive up to 490 kilometers on a full tank.</p>
